Jumeirah, Carlton Tower Hotel
Located in the heart of fashionable Knightsbridge, Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a London institute since 1961 stands proudly over Sloane Street and Cadogan Gardens, offering visitors and guests alike a hotel experience like no other.
Inspired by the past but looking to the future, Jumeirah Carlton Tower implemented an 18-month closure in 2021, when the hotel underwent the most extensive transformation in its history, at a cost of over £100 million, creating a space designed to delight and enchant the moment you step inside.
With 17 stories and overlooking the capitals skyline, Jumeirah Carlton Tower offers 186 magnificent bedrooms and suites, a health club, and a spa - home to London’s largest naturally lit indoor swimming pool, a restaurant, and lounge as well as a ballroom and many function rooms available on request.
Jumeirah Carlton Tower embraces a rich tapestry of history with the hotel’s story dating back to The Swinging Sixties, when London was the epicentre of fashion, music, culture, and design.
Welcoming the likes of supermodel Twiggy and fashion icon Mary Quant, Jumeirah Carlton Tower was a place to see and be seen. Famously known to be London’s first tower hotel, it changed the face of Knightsbridge forever, from traditional and stiff to glamorous and stylish.
The hotel’s famous health club ‘The Peak Fitness Club & Spa’ is set across three floors and was
completely redesigned in the renovation. New treatment rooms have been created at the Talise
Spa on the second floor and the swimming pool area revitalised. Jumeirah Carlton Tower is
proud to be home to London’s largest indoor swimming pool with natural daylight and its bright
interior is complemented by views through its double height glass ceiling, lined with poolside
cabanas for relaxation. Additionally, The Peak offers 70 studio classes weekly, and a gym featuring
bespoke ‘Technogym’ equipment on the ninth floor, which overlooks The Peak’s light-filled club
lounge with breath-taking panoramic views across the London. With its new design and features
as well as a strictly limited membership, The Peak looks set to retake its position at the forefront
of London’s luxury wellness world.
